For almost three decades, David Smith has effectively ministered throughout the United States and around the world. He serves as the Lead Pastor of Oak Park Church in Mobile, Alabama. Pastor David is leading the Oak Park congregation in a pursuit of God’s glory and a desire to reach the lost with a vision to “Love, Grow, Serve”. His passionate and unique style of ministry blends a relevant preaching of God’s Word with a powerful anointing for deliverance and breakthrough. He is in demand as a camp meeting and conference speaker. He has also ministered on numerous television ministries, including TBN, Daystar, TCT, Cornerstone, Dove Broadcasting, and more.

His Gospel message of hope and healing resonates with a generation that is hurting and disappointed by life's setbacks. His personal vision is, “To make someone else’s life better in the name of Jesus.” He has a special passion for mentoring other ministers and assisting pastors in revitalizing their churches and communities.

He is a graduate of Lee University (Cleveland, TN) and Trinity Law School (Santa Anna, CA). He has served in numerous leadership capacities and on ministry boards, including the Church of God Executive Council, District Overseer, State Council, State Evangelism Board, State Youth Board, World Missions Board, International Ministry to the Military Board, Peniel Board, and many others. He is also a regular host of Atlanta Live, a syndicated Christian television program that is broadcast throughout the world.

Pastor David maintains that his most incredible honor and responsibility in life is spending time with his wife, Kim, their three children, and their seven grandchildren.
